We will only show at two or three shows a year, it has been fun and its nice to see what the dogs can do but its not
about the blue ribbon, its about love of breed.
My show handler"Jenn Kaltz" was in a severe auto accident, so we are now exploring events on our own; although
she may no longer show our dogs, she is still involved in guiding us in the right direction. Jenn is very knowledgable
about showing and dog's in general. We are all praying for her recovery.

2010 started out well, we are showing Daisy and Treasure,
both gaining points towards their championship titles

Got a chance to try agility,
it was fun, and its good for
the dogs to try these
different obstacles but
because agility is a timed
event, saints are no match
for the border collies that
usually run these events in
record time.

In addition to dog shows, we also have several
dogs involved in therapy work, we visit,
hospitals, schools,hospice homes, etc
Getting a blue ribbon at a show is nice but this
is far more rewarding; Seeing someones face
light up that is dying from cancer or just had an
amputation because of war or illness; . These
dogs bring joy to people when they are
depressed. If you ever get a chance to do
therapy work, please do so, ;what the dogs do
for someone is amazing
